RULES

No jewelry of any type may be worn by participants in games. The only exception will be

plain flat wedding bands.

1. Linesman & Scorekeepers – Team captains are responsible for having 3 team members

work the games. 2 for lines and 1 for scoring.

2. Rally scoring as per league rules and regulations.

3. Identical uniform jerseys with numbers must be worn.

4. Forfeit time –0- first game (from scheduled start) / 10 minutes next 2 matches.

5. All rosters must be filled out legibly and turned in prior to the first match of league play.

6. Excessive forfeits will result in loss of franchise.

7. Cancellations due to inclement weather will be available by checking our web site at

www.annapolis.gov/recreation or by calling 410-263-7958. We do not automatically

cancel if schools are closed.

 

NOTE: Please let your team members know that upon entering the building, to check in at the desk to pay and/or do their scans for their Program Membership. Let the desk staff know you are there for the volleyball league. Please bring your subs. Come a bit early and check out the facility. There are locker rooms with lockers available (bring your own lock). Babysitting is available at an additional fee until 8:00PM. Remember Please: All current operational times of the facility and babysitting hours are subject to change based on use. If you bring children into the court area, please make sure they are supervised and do not impede play on the other courts. It is also for their safety. This is a work in progress and your suggestions are welcome. Please keep in mind the front desk is not totally familiar with all activities and programs going on.
